David Anderson
David Anderson lives in southern Indiana in a 100-year-old house with 2 dogs, an akita and a schipperke, and 2 cats, a fat tiger and a slimmer all-black guy.
Anderson holds graduate degrees in classical music from Southern Illinois University and the University of Chicago.
He also has a Certificate in Photography from Ivy Tech State College (Ind.) and certification as a Master Gardener from Purdue University Extension and as a Master Naturalist from the Indiana Department of Natural Resources.
Anderson has worked as a freelance writer, editor, and reviewer for 15 years. He has reviewed books in the sciences for Publishers Weekly for 14 years. Most of his editing is in the sciences and nonfiction books. He has contributed biographical entries on musicians to several reference publications, and he was included several years ago in Who's Who in America.
